Turn the page.
Printed at the bottom right of a page (Turn over) to show that the music continues overleaf; it appears where there is time to turn the page.
Plan page turns in parts and piano scores so that they fall in rests. If a turn must be made in the middle of playing, mark turn quickly (V.S.). Laying out a part so that its turns are easy is part of preparing a score, not an afterthought.
Turn over is one of 1755 terms in the Gradus musical dictionary: the words, abbreviations and instrument names that appear in printed scores, plus the vocabulary composers use to talk about them.
