Repeat.
Printed in Italian scores inside repeat instructions — si replica (repeat), senza replica after a da capo — rather than alone; the repeat itself is shown by repeat signs, and the word clarifies how to treat them.
Replica is the Italian for a repeat, so it mostly appears in compound instructions. If you want a section played twice, repeat signs say so most clearly; use the word to settle how a reprise treats those signs. The French reprise and the English repeat are its counterparts on the page.
Replica is one of 1755 terms in the Gradus musical dictionary: the words, abbreviations and instrument names that appear in printed scores, plus the vocabulary composers use to talk about them.
