Without interruption: go on straight away.
Printed at the end of a movement or section, sometimes extended (“ohne Unterbrechung weiter”), to say the next one follows at once with no pause. It applies to that join only.
The German attacca: link two movements so the music runs on without the usual silence or retuning. Use it when the connection is dramatic — a held chord resolving into the next movement — or when applause or a break would destroy continuity. Print it at the end of the first movement; a reminder at the head of the next helps page-turns.
Ohne Unterbrechung is one of 1755 terms in the Gradus musical dictionary: the words, abbreviations and instrument names that appear in printed scores, plus the vocabulary composers use to talk about them.
