Quicker again.
Printed above the staff to mark a further increase after an earlier faster marking. It is relative to the tempo just established and lasts until the next tempo word.
Still means yet more: it presupposes an earlier increase and adds another step, like sempre più mosso. It suits staged accelerations, where each new tempo settles before the next. Make the chain clear — a performer reading still faster must know the tempo it builds on — and plan where the acceleration stops.
Warlock, Peterisms, Set 1, “Rutterkin”, voice, m. 26: “Still faster”, two bars after “Rather faster”.
Still faster is one of 1755 terms in the Gradus musical dictionary: the words, abbreviations and instrument names that appear in printed scores, plus the vocabulary composers use to talk about them.
