Printed below the piano staves where the soft pedal is released, cancelling an earlier mit Verschiebung; it corresponds to tre corde.
Write it wherever the veiled una corda colour should end, ideally at a phrase boundary so the change of tone is not heard mid-gesture. Without it pianists may keep the soft pedal down indefinitely. Treat the two words as a pair: every mit Verschiebung needs its ohne Verschiebung.
