What it teaches

The 7–6 in minor, riding the natural descent: the suspended voice dissonates against a falling bass that carries no accidental at all.

The B♭ is prepared by the 5–6 exchange, strikes as a seventh over the falling bass, and resolves into the sixth chord below — all in the natural form of the scale. The descent gathers no accidental until the true dominant arrives to end the phrase.

The three upper voices of the model realization fit under one hand. Every note of the suspension is in the key signature — minor’s descent needs no accidentals, and the sharp waits for the dominant at the close. Carry it into A minor, G minor.
