A slur passing over or under a beamed group must clear the beam's ink, not just the notes' stems

When a slur's span includes beamed notes, the beam itself (which projects beyond the stem tips and slants with the group) is part of what the slur must clear.

A slur over a descending beamed 16th-note run clears the individual stem tips but clips the beam itself where it slants downward faster than the slur's own curve.
